Welcome to Maple Springs

An old-fashioned church, still on fire.

Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, soul-winning, Bible-believing Baptist Church with the desire to reach our community, as well as surrounding areas for Christ.

All preaching and teaching is from the King James AV1611 Bible. We believe the King James Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, perfect, and preserved word.

We believe the head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ, and that preaching the unchanging truths of the Bible frees sinners from the bondage of sin and changes lives forever.

Our Pastor

A word from Bro. Curt Howard

“The Lord has blessed our church so much, and the word tells us, ‘For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required…’ As God’s blessings continue to pour down, we must continue to ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.’”

Luke 12:48 · Luke 14:23

Bro. Curt has pastored Maple Springs since 2004. In that time the Lord has grown the church from one building to a campus — and, more to the point, has kept the altar full. He and his wife Sandy have two children, Cray and Cacey.

Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

Ministries

There is a place for you here

Maple Springs MBC offers a wide variety of events for those seeking Christian fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.
  • Vacation Bible School

    Every summer

Each summer the church holds its Family Vacation Bible School. Bible classes are available for age nursery through adult. The church also serves dinner each night and special recreational equipment is brought in for the week. Children and adults alike have a good time while studying God’s Word, as well as fellowship and fun with other Christians.

  • Church Camp

    Every summer

Maple Springs MBC sponsors dozens of children each summer to attend church camp, which is designed to be a spiritual respite from the world. Every year there are many professions of faith made by children and adults alike.

  • Overcomers Ministry

    Wednesdays at 6:15 PM

This program uses the word of God, Holy Spirit-filled guidance, and prayer to bring those who suffer from addiction to the understanding of what it means to become a new creation in Christ.

  • Victory in Jesus Grief Support

First Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM

This ministry provides a caring heart, a listening ear, and a shoulder to cry on to those who are hurting due to the loss of a loved one. The group meets in the fellowship hall, and each meeting ends with altar prayer.

  • Jail & Prison Ministry

The church has a group of men and women who share a burden for lost souls in the local jails and prisons, as well as providing spiritual help and Bible study for inmates during this very difficult time in their lives.

  • Nursing Home Visitation

Third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM

A group from the church holds a worship service at Mountain Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in Batesville, Arkansas.

Missions

Two churches planted, and three fields overseas
